This hip mobility exercise is great for all golfers in obtaining proper rotation in the golf swing.
So often I talk about flexibility of the hips. For years for all of my clients we have been doing so much hip flexibility.
Let’s swing our hips forward and back, let’s swing our legs side to side for our golf swing, so we can really rotate, let’s do our pelvic tilt. That’s all fine and good and I actually use all of those with my clients but now I am focusing on Flexibility with control.
So today I’m going to do an exercise and it comes from a system called CARS, Controlled Articular Rotation. The word articular just means joint. So we have controlled joint rotation.
You can do controlled joint rotation with your shoulders; you can do a controlled rotation with your hips and a lot of different joints.
