The Harbourside Course at Longboat Key Club is located three miles north of the Links on Longboat and consists of three nines including the Blue Heron Course.
Many of the holes border Sarasota Bay and our own Longboat Key Club Moorings, providing a quintessential Gulf Coast setting for a day on the greens. While all three nines vary in characteristics, they each pose a great challenge when deciding which to play.
The final nine at Harbourside is the most popular – “Blue Heron”, measuring 3,401 yards—the signature nine of all 45 holes here at Longboat Key Club. This nine was redesigned in 2005 and re-sodded this year with the new Platinum Paspalum grass as well.
The Blue Heron Course borders Sarasota Bay with breathtaking views at every turn, the nine “signature” holes challenge every part of your game. Tree-lined fairways and swirling winds put a premium on shot-making and course strategy.
